Scarlett Johansson is an American actress and singer. She was born in the city of New York, New York on November 22 in 1984. Her performance has won an acclaim in a diverse range of genres including time-based dramas, thrillers, and action films. Johansson was the daughter of an architect as well as a producer, was born on the streets of New York City. Hunter and her twin and Johansson were both the youngest out of four kids. As a toddler she began to develop an enthusiasm to act and started auditioning commercials at age seven. She was enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly following and then attended the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. In Off-Broadway's play Sophistry she was in the role of Ethan Hawke at age 8 as well as in North directed by Rob Reiner in 1994 she began her film debut. Johansson came next to the screen in Just Cause (1996), however she was Manny & Lo 1996 that brought her to the forefront. The film tells the story of two young girls that are fleeing. Renee Felice Smith began her professional career as a child. The acting was her favorite pastime as young. Smith landed her very first role at the age of seven years old thanks to help from her parents. Smith was in an Dannon commercial. As with many actresses who started out, she opted to develop her craft within the arena of theatre. In the time she staged her debut with Wildflower she would also work on different projects across USA. She was a student at The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory part of the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts'.
